Making A Tukutuku Pattern




We are learning about tukutuku patterns. We are having a discovery time. Our challenge was to figure out how to make the diagonal lines go across.

    Hi Kasey and Grace,
    You two were a perfect picture of co-operation while you were doing this. It was neat to see the excitement on your faces when you first discovered how to make the X pattern. Great problem solving. I'm enjoying watching the pattern grow. Will you put up a photo of the finished tukutuku panel?
